Quakertown Fire Company was awarded $9165 through the Heritage Program sponsored by Firemen's Fund Insurance and ProAccess Insurance.  ProAccess is owned by Franklin Twp residents Jim and Lori Young.  The grant will go directly towards purchasing 6 new sets of firefighting turn-out gear.

After the award presentation, a lunch was sponsored by the Youngs in the newly renovated Bulldog Lounge.  The Lounge was flooded during the early August rainstorm and this was the first public event held since the repairs.
